ABOUT THE MINISTRY

My Marriage Matters is an annual conference hosted by the Christian Missionary Fellowship International (CMFI of Toronto (GTA). Through this conference, we offer advices for a successful marriage and to promote marriage according to the word of God.
​
First and foremost, we define ourselves as children of God who are committed to living according to God's will and seeing his purposes fulfilled in our generation. Far from being perfect, far from being the most experienced, we believe that God has a perfect plan for marriage and family. Unfortunately, God's children are ill-equipped to live out marriage in a practical way that honors the Lord.
They are unfortunately abused at every turn of doctrine and often end up in voluntary or involuntary separation or divorce.
In the midst of multiple challenges and realities, many marriages are plunged into chaos.
We are committed to seeing these marriages restored and flourishing.

Our mission is to bring Christ back into the center of marriages, for we believe that God has a wonderful plan for every marital union.
We see, we look into the distance, we look into the kingdom of heaven, we look into the light of the word, we want to see heaven's perspective for marriage and believe what God says! and believe what God says! about us! about our lives! and about His plans for our marriage! We believe that your marriage matters! matters to your life! matters to your family! matters to society! matters to the kingdom of heaven! matters to God the Father.​

We want to be as practical as possible and give concrete resources to all those who aspire to marriage according to God! to help them influence and direct their realities so that they become according to God's heart instead of being led by the ways and means that society proposes.
CHALLENGES WE ADDRESS
We address the what, who, how, when, and especially why questions that young people ask before marriage about a marriage that matters to God.
We address the what, who, how, when, and especially why questions that young and old couples ask about life issues, finances, family, children, sexuality, and also controversial topics like in-laws, and even divorce in a marriage that matters to God!
